The Mindful Clinic also offers Hypnotherapy and NLP, private appointments and courses in Mastering Hatha Yoga and Healing Yoga for Health Challenges. Golfers can chose between Yoga 4 Golf and an all new NLP & Somatics for Golf. This specific programme allows you to achieve your true Golfing potential and the peak state you've always aspired to by blending the power of Neuro-Linguistic programming (by re-programming your mental internal strategies to get specific results) and gentle mind-body Somatic exercises (to improve your flexibility, range of motion and breath awareness - so essential for getting your shot straight down the fairway!) This programme will ensure you get both your mind and your body in the golfing zone!
The range of Integrative Therapies on offer can be practised in conjuction with most medical treatments and your personalised programme will be designed to take these and any contra-indications into account. Please note that Kathy does not offer medical advise and if you have a medical condition, please consult with your Doctor or Specialist prior to starting your programme.
You will find that rather than offering a diagnosis and treatment for a specific condition, Kathy will select, adapt and modify the tools and practices of modern Mind-Body health and healing therapies and ancient insights appropriately for you as an individual with respect to your age, culture, religion, goals, specific physical challenges and conditions. The emphasis is on strengthening you throughout you Body, Mind and Spirit.
For example, a Yoga Therapy session for general well being could include:-
- Body awareness to help you listen to your body, find out where you carry stress and tension and explore ways of learning to let go
- Gentle Healing Hatha Yoga poses and Structural Yoga to help you gently stretch/strengthen/release your muscles and improve your flexibility and range of motion.
- Somatic Mind-Body exercises where you reawaken your mind's control of movement, flexibility and health
- Pranayama (breathing) techniques which can help reduce stress and its symptoms. These easy to learn techniques help to calm your whole body, mind and emotions and can be practised anywhere - even in the dentists chair, during medical procedures, whilst playing sports and of course while giving birth!
- Guided imagery to help create positive changes
- Deep Relaxation using healing music to help you really relax and rejuvenate
